L'hébergement de personnes sans logement est un problème au cœur de l'actualité. C'est pour cela qu'il est nécessaire de trouver des solutions par un habitat durable, adaptable, transportable et recyclable visant l'intégration au sein de la société de ces individus. Pour cela, j'ai voulu créer un module de vie combinant design d'objet et micro-architecture. Ce projet vise l'utilisation de matériaux assainissants (hygiéniques et limitant le développement des bactéries) et recyclables (respectueux de l'environnement). Ce volume, facilement trans-portable en tout lieu par une seule personne, est multifonctionnel :
Le volume principal de la boite comporte plusieurs espaces de rangement, déplaçable grâce aux deux roues, et stabilisé. Cela permet à l'individu et sa famille d'avoir avec soi tous les objets de première nécessité (trousse de premiers secours, matelas gonflables et pompe à air, couvertures de survie, éclairages, poches à réservoir d'eau pour se doucher, nourriture et eau potable).
Des toilettes sèches, partie intégrante du module qui dissimule le bac à sciure. Ce procédé comporte plusieurs avantages : écologique, hygiénique et économique, la sciure de bois est idéale et plus efficace que des toilettes à chasse d'eau. L'odeur est instantanément absorbée par les copeaux de bois.
Bac de douche sous forme de tiroir est intégré sous la partie basse du module, permettant de récolter l'eau usée et de la jeter a posteriori, dans un but écolo-gique.
Une structure télescopique à trois branches indissociable du volume permet de construire un abri autour de l'objet grâce à une enveloppe recyclable et solide. La structure est soutenue par le poids du module stable.
Une toile isolante en plastique recyclable en fibre végétale, venant recouvrir la structure déployée sert d'abri contre les intempéries (vent, pluie, neige, orage) et de respecter l'intimité et la vie privée de(s) l'individu(s). Le volume se construit grâce à des fermetures éclair pour solidariser les angles. Elle est repliée, posée et attachée sur le module lorsque l'individu veut se déplacer.

Lodging for the homeless is one of today’s critical issues. It is for this reason that it is necessary to find solutions that aim to integrate those without housing into society through accommodation that is sustainable, adaptable, transportable and which can be recycled. With these objectives in mind, I would have imagined a housing unit that combines object design and micro-architecture. An important aspect of my project is the use of sanitizing materials (being hygienic and limiting the development of bacteria) and recyclables (which are more environ-mentally respectful). This living space, easily moved by a single person, is multifunctional :
The main compartment is a box including several storage spaces, with two wheels permitting mobility, and which can be stabilized by its two other legs. This allows the individual and his or her family to have regular access to basic essentials (e.g., a first aid kit, an inflatable mattress and air pump, blankets, lighting, portable shower bags, food and potable water).
Dry toilets, an integral part of the unit which conceals a sawdust bin. This approach has several advantages : it is environmentally friendly, hygienic and economical, sawdust being more efficient than flush toilets. Odors are quickly absorbed by the wood shavings.
A shower tray in the form of a drawer is integrated into the lower part of the unit, allowing for the collection and disposal of waste water in an ecologically advantageous manner.
A telescopic structure consisting of three “branches” that cannot be separated from the box allows for the construction of a shelter around the unit thanks to a solid, recyclable wrapping. The structure is supported by the weight of the stabilized unit.
The insulating tarp, made of a recyclable plant fiber-based plastic and covering the above-mentioned structure, provides shelter from inclement weather (wind, rain, snow, storms) and allows the individual or individuals to have some privacy. The tarp is assembled with zippers that hold together its corners. It can be folded up and attached to the unit when the individual or individuals wish to move. A diverse range of printed patterns and fabric colors can be proposed to individuals. This would help individuals to make the housing space their own by allowing for differences in taste and style.
